What is the IP Address for my site?
Many providers host entire accounts (website, email and database) on single servers, which means the same IP address is used for everything. Since we run services on a ‘platform’ rather than single server there are several IP addresses that you may need to know about.
Site IP Address
This is the address that is used to access your website. You may need this is you manage your DNS elsewhere, and can find this within your hosting control panel.
- Head to Manage Hosting and select Manage for the package you wish to know the IP address for
- Down the right-hand side under Account Information you’ll find both the IP Address and the IPv6 Address
- In general it’s only the IPv4 address you’ll need – highlighted in the screenshot here for reference.
Your site/package IP Address will usually start with 185.151.30, but the last set of digits may vary so always check this if you have more than one site with us.
External Connections
If you are connecting to external services, you’ll likely see one of the following IP addresses:
- 185.151.28.62
- 185.151.28.63
- 185.146.165.194
- 185.146.165.195
- 45.8.227.175
- 45.8.227.176
If you have a Scheduled Tasks/Cron Job that requires external connections, these will appear from:
- 185.151.28.61
- 185.146.165.196
- 45.8.227.174
If you are using our Migration Tool then the connection will use:
- 185.151.28.73
- 185.151.30.13
Please note: the above addresses are subject to change.
If you are needing the whitelist the IP address we recommend that you whitelist the following ranges:
- 185.151.28.0/24
- 185.146.165.0/24
- 45.8.225.0/24
- 45.8.227.0/24
