We began rolling out customer-friendly protection for website forms in 2019, and now provide this as standard on all WordPress websites that we manage directly and optionally on all sites looked after through our managedSupport service as well.
The service works in the background to check messages, comments, form submissions and orders for common spam patterns and against known bad emails and IP addresses. There’s no need to solve a maths question, click on the traffic lights or read jumbled letters: it just works.
The service is also available for other websites including Drupal, Joomla, OpenCart, Magento, Typo, PrestaShop and more.
Each site can be configured based on needs, with each element of the service being adjusted as required. In the unlikely event of a submission being miscategorised it can easily be removed or retrieved, and an additional dashboard is available for those who want to be able to actively manage this.
